Jimmy,
I went though Hill house hammond who got me a policy with Haven insurance, they took into consideration that i had another car and full no claims on that policy and gave me a very good price on my my94 1.8 LX Mondeo (no business mileage though as i only go to and from work in it).
Give them a try

Tony

Yep, Try a Broker, they will be able to quote with a company that will reflect the percentage discount off your 1st policy, Class 1 business use is not much more these days.

Other Brokers: Swinton or AA

You will struggle to get the equivelent discount on your second car as your first if you need Any over 30. Insurers hate any driver policies these days. You will only get the second car deals if you restrict driving to Insured only or Insured and spouse/partner.

One option is to effectively do a change of vehicle...i.e Subaru to Laguna and then also change the Use to include Business and the Driving Restrictions to Any Driver over 30.

Then on your Scoob.....presuming you want to limit the driving to you...and maybe the missus.....take out a new policy and get the intro on that one....most companies would then allow max intro on the back of the Max NCD you now have on the Laguna...

If you want to chat it through, give one of the team a call on Monday and they'll try and assist

Any driver is going to be expensive as there are now so few insurers that will even quote on that basis. Best bet is to name them as long as there arn't too many.

As for the second car discount, you will struggle with this on a scoob because of the high group rating. These deals are designed for the second car being a 'shopping trolly'

I currently manage accounts for 20 insurers for a big national broker and none of them would do what's needed here...Sorry I can't help you more.
