Direct Line (No Under 25 despite being underwritten by UK insurance limited who underwrite Tescos and egg who will both quote!)
Norwich Union (No under 25)
AxA Direct (No under 25)
Churchill (No Under 30)

I have got quotes from

Danny Boy, like yourself I'm in the category of being under 25 at the moment as well m8. The whole insurance thing stinks and I can sympathise with you and others.
Unfortuantely some bright spark reckons that if your under 25 then you are automatically a high risk. Even if we've been driving since we were 17 for many years, we are still discriminated against because of age. I really do beg to differ with anyone that claims they are a safer and better driver at 30,40,50 or whatever age.
In the insurance Companys eyes, someone could be aged 45, held a licence for say 25 years but never driven once since then and somehow they would probably still get a better quote than us!
However, back to your quotes....I don't know your personal circumstances, age, type of car, location etc but I was getting qoutes by Elephant for a P1 for less than £1500 fully comp aged 24. If it's a car in the same league then don't even waste your time contacting Subaru insurance cos they didn't even try to get a competitive quote for me .
Hope my input helps you or if anything stimulates someone reading this to get the power of the people to rid this discrimination for good mate. Good luck
ps am really hungover so that will explain the waffling. Think I'll go back to sleep and get off my soapbox
Cheers
