Angry WRX with PPP

Hi has anyone got their MY03WRX with PPP insured through Admiral or their sister company Elephant for that matter?

I have just got a reply from them stating that they could not insure such an upgrade due to the increase in power. Wouldn't mind but I'm 29 with full NCB to boot.

Looks as if I will be looking for a new insurer as well as someone to fit PPP at renewal time!

They have the STI down with PPP as a model and not as a modification. It must surely be the same for the WRX

Are you sure?
Did they say STi Prodrive or STi with PPP.
A lot of companies list the STi Prodrive Style and will say "STi Prodrive" is listed, however this is NOT the same as an STi with a PPP.
Insuring an STi PPP as "STi Prodrive" is the same as driving around uninsured.

Same thing happened to me with Admiral - they tried to cancel the insurance the same day until i laid the law down. Found another insurer(livvic) WHO DIDN'T MIND IT AT ALL.
