I told all the brokers that the T25 was a brand new imported STi which then had the American 2.5 engine, exhaust and suspension put in by the importer before delivery, strangely Privilege wanted £1580 and they along with Tesco's are all part of the Direct Line Group.

Tried to run this by Tesco & the result was... completly confused muppet on the other end and a £3000 quote...

Mad... I pay at present £1200 for the STI type UK with a 10% power increase for the PPP...

If you don't mind me asking of what vintage are you and do you have any points?

I'm 37 next month with full no claims...! no points!

I'm 39 with full no claims, no points and my wife who is 42 as the second driver, alll the above quotes also included no claims protection as well. I can't understand the probs with the brokers as my T25 will be based on a Spec C WR Ltd and they all managed in the end to give a quote, so a T25 based on a "normal" STi shoudn't really be a problem for them.
