Honda NSX insurance woes
£1100 fully comp for a 50+yr old with 5yr+ NCBs for a 7 year old car worth 25K, with limited mileage
cetainly have not quoted me happy
The best bit is adding a 25yr old as a named driver made no difference...wtf?
The even worse bit is insuring a 1996 Bentley continental worth £60K for the above cost half that (no we don't own one, but the old man was offered one in part-exchange for the NSX - though it was a bit out of his pocket )
Am I missing something here?
On the plus side got quoted £175 for a 1982 Jag XJS

Well it's that time again. Just now it's MY car now
£1592 <thud>
Managed it to squeeze it to £1400, But I want half that.
Jag is £160 now :
Anyone got any ideas of any decent companies to use?
Tried L&V but their system is down at the mo, are Carol Nash any good?

Well, www.confused.com came up trumps. I'm down to £834 with lancaster, still awaiting replies from the above lot though, so we'll see if it can be bettered

Hi Shark,
I've just returned from 2 weeks hols and have returned to maintaining a vigil on here.
I noticed that you submitted an e-mailed quotation to us and was looking to see as to how we got on.
I'd appreciate your comments via PM as i'm personally involved with oversight and developent of our Scoobynet schemes.
Kind regards
Tony

Hi, they did quote me. £1100 IIRC
Unfortunately, this a bit wide of the mark, and I'm in the process of gaining a family/fleet cover which works out very competetive. Especially after I thrown in a few BMWs and some extra drivers on the same policy.
Sorry, I cannot send PMs as they are turned off for unrelated reasons.
