Default Cheaper Insurance for 18 Year old ?

Well Im looking to get Insured on my first car, but im having trouble getting sensible quotes on the car of my choice (which is understandable).

Well I have really got my Heart set on a 106 Rallye not too **** take I think at group 11 Insurance but due to my age and no no-claims im getting quotes of around £2600-£3000 which is a tad too much obviously, though that is a policy as me as the mian driver.

So I was wondering is there any companies people know of that may be able to give me a better quote. I just want to find a quote in the region of 2k

Fromage

Give the Co Op a try - they're normally very competitive for young drivers in not-too-high grouped cars.

Do you pass plus and Norwich Union Direct give you ~50% off. They've just been cheapest for me (20) on a group 10 Impreza GL with 1yr NCB.

Default Cheap Insurance

Hi mate,

think you have to be realistic at your age. Think to do is get something cheap and safe with airbags as to be honest young drivers are more likely to have a crash and just build up the no claims.

I started with a 1.3 Golf Mk2 but used it to learn car control and basic maintenance. Put a bodykit and alloys on it so it looked just like the Gti and just took it easy till i could move on.

Try Endsleigh though for first time drivers especially if u are a student

cheers and good luck
