Default Rum (Tom) and Subaru Insured....

Finally got my insurance sorted after getting some comedy quotes from some real jokers.
I couldn't get anyone to quote for my mods, just on the standard car. As soon as I mentioned modifications they must have creamed their pants at the thought of adding several hundred pounds to an already over-inflated cost.

Step forward Tom...... (He's Rum on here)
Not only did he beat the cheapest quote I'd had but it also covers the wheels, springs and BB which are fitted now and I'll be able to add extra stuff later.
It was a pleasure to deal with him and I'd much rather he got the money rather than some faceless gimp in a call centre somewhere.

When your renewal comes round give him a call and see if he can save you a few quid!

If you're 28 or over, UK car, a good no-claims history etc then he should be able to do you a good deal.
www.subaruinsured.co.uk his number is on the site, give him a call.

Had exactly the same thing - and in the end managed to get a quote from them for a WRX MY05 SL, 34, full no claims, no points, and it came out about £900 (in Surrey area) with the PPP. Went to L&V who did it for £700 all in. Was pretty peeved to see Subaru INsuarnce were not competitive, therefore have to ask why - surely they should appreciate PPP more than others, but it seems not.

I'm already with L&V and they wouldn't renew my policy if I fitted PPP. They wanted £900+, Tom did it for £690 inc wheels, springs and exhaust, L&V wouldn't let me have those either.

You can't please all the people all of the time but I was very pleased with the price and the service from Tom and Subaru Insured.

No good for me though - was told I couldn't get insurance with PPP without having 'performance' car experience in the last year whatever that means. Apparantly my Zafira GSi with 200bhp doesn't count

They wouldnt cover my Spec C, said they didnt do jap imports, seems they have changed their minds anyway, i still found L&V to undercut them by quite a large ammount

When I enquired recently regarding a plan I'm hatching for a turbo upgrade he wasn't able to assist. Underwriter negotiation issues. However, A-Plan are able to help.

They wouldn't quote me when I got my Impreza. Something to do with performance car experience. Yeah right, a porsche or a ferrari, thats a performance car I'm pretty sure my P1 isn't.
They're not that good. Oh and I have over 5 years NCD aswell. Doesn't make any sense.

Subaru insured are out of action at the moment until the end of the week. Something to do with their new computer system. Can't give you a quote or even a estimate
