TESCO TO ENTER IRISH MARKET
Very recently Tesco have told the Irish Government that they will opening up in the Republic over the next few months.The position over Northern Ireland is not yet clear but south of the border some welcome additional competition like this should shake up the marketplace.

Tesco's did provide cover in Northern Ireland for a while, but I believe they got their fingers burned ever so slightly and ran away!
I for one would love to see much more competition regarding car insurance.
