right Tescos seem to be getting way to expensive when I start to mod the car and now Im looking at new brakes turbo and injectors and top mount
any where else to try as my policy is up for renewal

Trust me m8, and i've really tried, you will not find anyone cheaper than Tescos. I got my sti 4 one year ago when I was 21. Paid £2400 insurance with 2years no claims!
Now paying £1680. I think we just have to swallow the fact that the impreza is a very quick + nickable car. And our age doesnt help things. I was surprised though at how much my premium came down after just one year.

Maybe stick to things like engine management upgrades and air filters rather than external stuff. Makes the car quicker but no more desirable from the outside.
