Chaps
MY04 WRX with Ninja BB
34, Full NCB
Renewal due end Jan 2005. Last year was about £550 + the extra for the BB (£30) in the middle of the year.
Thinking about doing Prodrive springs so rang Admiral. If I did the change now the cost would be an extra £16.90 on this years insurance. Operator could not give me the renewal price with springs.
So what do reckon the cost of doing the springs would add to the premium for next year?
I'm guessing.... and this is a total shot in the dark...
£16.90 divided by the number of days till renewal date (40) = 0.42p
£0.42p times 365 = £153
£153 sound about right? or is my guess way out?

what springs? we didnt know you have springs and you never knew it was there and you dont know why your car has dropped its height!
i wouldnt even tell them it was lowered! you cant tell anyway! but its upto you. i think they shouldnt add more then £50

Got renewal price (£619) and cost of lowering. Lowered by up to 5cm £34 extra.
Also asked about body mods (splitter) and for an extra £44 they'll cover both lowering and a front splitter.
Front splitter on it's own is also £34.
