A-Plan - cheaper this year than L&V last year!
I got the details for Rob at A-Plan from other threads here, and had a chat with him...
Great stuff! Didn't bother calling anyone else, just took his quote...
L&V last year - £779
L&V this year - £909
A-Plan this year <ta daaaaa> : £ 749
For info, I'm a 38 salesman in GL4 with full business use (only about 6K miles/pa in this though) on a parallel import MY03 STi with PPPish mods (Tek3, Milltek exhaust, equal length headers, fuel pump, uprated rear anti-roll bar) - 9 SP30/50 based points over the last 5 years, and with the 30yr old GF on it as well.... oh, and probably protected NCB (at 75%).
He reckons that they've insured 'in to 4 figures' of Scoobs in the past 4 months - mainly from Scoobynet recommendations....!!!!!
I usually ring absolutely everyone, and don't give up until I've read half the yellow-pages and sweated over every online quote system I can find... bu this year, with a quote less than L&V last year, I just took it and saved my time and energy.
Very, very good.... and Rob's a great bloke to talk to about cars as well.
