Tesco are the best option. They guy before me was only 22 when he 1st insured the impreza and that was grp 20 (WRX STi Ver.III).

They will require a tracker and full cat1 alarm...

1st yr was bout £2k... second yr went down to £1.5k... quite a drop, not bad at that age fully comp etc....

Tescos wont touch anyone under 23 possibly even 25 depending on circumstances!

I would recommend Elephant or Admiral, im 22 with a UK Turbo and they insured me with no no claims for 1,800 (had to put Mother on the policy)

Best I think he'll be looking at with six points though is about 3k??? at a guess!

they said NO QUOTE because of the IN10 4 years ago, apparently they rate that conviction within 5 years. that is where the problem lies im afraid

I think you will find that they wont touch anyone under 25 with any sort of bad record! Ive only got 3 points on my license at 22 and they wouldnt quote me! Got an answer of "Sorry you need to be 25+ for this vehicle". I have heard with a good record and NCB they will quote over 23's though.

I think this is some sort of regulation that has changed in the psat couple of months

with tesco you have to be over 23, im 21 an i couldnt get insured on a classic for less than 4 grand.. thats why i went for a bugeye.

2500 at 22 aint a bad price and i would pay that anyday!!!
