Default Privilege Insurance

Has anyone had any dealing with these? I am presently insured with direct line and I am pay £105 a month but I have just got an online quote of £42 for a like or like policy. This seems to be too good to be true! I even phone privilege up and got a quote over the phone which was £75 a month and she seemed supprised that there was big difference.

Am I missing something or should I just get on a change my insurance and use the money I am saving for more Optimax!!!??

i am insured with privalidge, they were miles cheaper than any of the other 500,000 odd companies i tried. at that time every year i make the same phone calls and always end up renewing with them.

i have had no problems with them at all.

I was recommended to use Priviledge when i brought an import in from Japan....that was 6 years ago. Each year they were able to better themselves with breakdown cover, legal advice, courtesy car, no claims protection.. and even though I did the "phone for other quotes" routine, they have never been beaten.

Someone told me they have a "loyalty" approach to their business...not sure how true that is but i certainly won't be looking elsewhere

Yes, I'm with Privilege for my 03 STi, I pay £746 a year with £250 excess and a hire car if mine's off the road for any repairs. (40 year old, West London)You can get quotes off their website, and you can enter how much excess you want to pay and also if you require any additional benefits, i.e free car hire, etc.
