Question Doh!

I had a crash last august which hasnt been resolved yet, and ive just had my renewal through this morning.

Ive lost my ncb and my insurance has gone up £700.

Would i lose my ncb even if im not at fault? As the claims not settled yet how have i lost them?

have you actullay 'claimed' for anything on your policy yet?

my mate had a problem with norwich union - he had an accident and did all the repairs to his own car himself. the accident was deemed his fault so they took his no claims off him. he looked into it as he is currently studying law at uni and managed to get his no claims back on a technicallity as he said that 'he' had not made a claim, it was the person he hit that claimed against him. Norwich union have since re-worded their policy!

I have claimed yes, and funnilly enough the bill came to £700!

Im assuming theyve decided it was my fault as i though that if youre not at fault all expences and ncb will be reinstated????
