Adding business cover to insurance - how much?

I've been told by my employer that in order to claim for travelling expenses, I have to prove that I have insurance which gives cover for business use. When I enquired about this before last year, I was suprised to find that it would add about 30% to my standard premium.
Anybody got any experience of this?

I know some companies do charge for business use, but 30% is high. It my depend on what type of business use you need.
My sister just got her insurance with Direct Line and it appears that Class 1 Business Use (ie travelling to meet clients at their premises) is included free within the policy.
