I've just insured my Scoob with Tescos, and coincidentally my wife's insurance renewal came up, so that one is now with Tescos as well. Very good quotes.
BUT...
my wife's includes a '5% discount for booking via the internet' whereas mine doesn't. I used their Web page, put in all the details etc, but eventually it came up with a message that said that I needed to ring them, so the final part of the arrangements were made via a telesales operator.
I queried the discount (afterwards) and they said that even though I had done it online I wasn't entitled to it because of the phone call required. Picky or what ?
I know the small print giveth and the small print taketh away and all that, but I feel a bit peeved about this.
Has anybody been given the internet discount on a Scoob ?

the small print on my girlfriends policy limited the mileage to 10,000.
We didn't request this and when we fought it we got a 5,000 mile free upgrade.
After that its £30 for 5,000 miles.
The initial quote seems good but who does 10,000 miles a year.
If they hide something as fundamental as this what happens when/if you have to make a claim.
They certainly wont get the renewal.
Cheers

Thanks Sean, I suspected I was getting a raw deal. I've written to them outlining why they should give me the discount
. I'll post the reply here either way.
