Default YOUNG PERSON INSURANCE

does somebody know an insurance company that would insure a 22 year old with a WRX import and still allow mods???? these supposed specialists are no good whatsoever and the major ones who say yes say they wont even cover alloys which seems pretty pathetic to me. ANY IDEAS?????? THANKS

Many companies inist on 30+ for imports so I'm not surprised.

Have you got a couple of years No Claims?

If so, try Keith Michaels.

What about A-Plan? Try calling the Thatcham branch (www.a-plan.co.uk) - they specialise in Subarus.

If you've got a good history of owning performance cars, they're more likely to insure you. If the Subaru is your first you're going have a bit more trouble.

Somebody young got a fair deal from that performance car specialist (I forget the name) based near Kings Lynn on the A47. However, I've always found them too expensive.

It's the import thing, uk cars are ok, it's the imports and yougsters they don't like, i tried quotes a few years back all uk cars were fine, soon as you import was mentioned it was 'call us'.

Prbably not for your age, but it's swings and roundabouts, imports are generally cheaper than uk cars, and the insurance is the opposite, so there probably wouldn't be much in it.

Cheaper Car= Dearer Insurance
Dearer Car = Cheaper Insurance
