Anyone had a re-quote or adjustment to their policy after the install of a full rollcage.
Suppose I'd better prepare the vaseline after last years "at fault" decision in an accident as well.

Insurance companies hate roll cages - especially real ones. Grease yourself up good mate!

I know that I mentioned to NFU that I was going to have a cage in the car for travel to/from trackdays and the response was that if I was concientious enough to want to do that then that was a "good thing" and there was no adjustment to premium.

Hi Andy..

In most cases, there is no change of premium for this modification.

So, at Greenlight vaseline will not be required for a roll cage installation

Fault accidents are however a different story .

Kind regards

Tony

No probs at all with my 6 point cage and Footman James.

Just told them it was for safety at track events (true) and they were fine, no increase.
Biggest issue on mine is the car being a grey import.

Graham.

Cheers for the reply Tony, nice to have a bit of online contact with my insurer. :thumb.
I think the insurance has already run out anyway
Will be in contact again once it's back in one piece.

Still no photos yet John, I decided to do a 106 headgasket instead of going to see how my own car is coming along, cage was supposed to have arrived mid week..
