Got a flyer from First Direct promising to beat my renewal by 10%. Got my renewel through from A-Plan this month for £1069 (32, 1yr NCB, 6 points from 4-5 years ago, UK MY98 with exhaust mod).

So rang First Direct quoted the ref number - and got it for £962. Actual original quote from FD would have been £1600.

Never been so pleased to get some junk mail. Proper money saving offer!
