(Yet another) Hurrah for Gary Moulson
Gary's sooooo much nicer to deal with than some call centre in New Delhi.
He's hard to get hold of cos he's a busy lad, and he didn't save me me much (about £60), but it's great to talk to someone who knows their stuff.
The cover I got does have a high excess (£500), but the cover's much better - like for like replacements on my mods etc.
£625 for a MY95 WRX Import - 29yr old with 7yrs NCD.
Can't recommend highly enough.

Only quoted as yet, I do not need to renew at the moment, but was pleasantly suprised with their online quote.
Confused.com were £857 with NU direct I think.

You need to get hold of people when you need insurance. I'm still waiting for Gary, A-plan and A-Quote to ring me back from the other day. If I took the companies on their promise to ring me back my insurance would have expired.
I've renewed with Tesco's again. They may be more expensive but they answer the phone and ring back when the need arises and more importantly sort out claims straight away with little fuss. To me that is what insurance is about, not just saving a few quid.

Hi mate
Sorry you feel that way.
Some people prefer to speak to a call center in the middle of nowhere when you never speak to the same person twice, and some prefer to deal with just one person who specialises in a particular car.
Has been a manic few weeks for me, have been covering 2 other peoples work and have been in and out of meetings, so if you are waiting for a callback and don't get it then ring me again.

As I stated before I tried to contact other insurers but got no response. Would you propose that I drive around without insurance in the hope that I get a call back.
As regards Tesco's I can't fault them on service but I do agree about their increasing prices. I would have loved to have saved £350-maybe next year.

Will speak to you soon. I've seen so many good reports about yourself that I tried to get a quote only to be told a few times that you would ring me back etc. Tried quite a few times but unfortunately needed insurance quickly. It was a case of either having insurance or not. I prefer to have it.

I see plenty of good things said about Garry, I'd just like to add to that, the quote he sorted me out for my soon to arrive STi Type R was excellent, and he also got me a great price on the 280+ bhp Rover Turbo I have just now.
Personally I like being able to call up and ask for Garry, he knows his stuff and knows your details and your policy. I'll be on the phone next week or the following, just as soon as the seller calls me to let me knwo the cars reg and that I can go pick it up (having private plate taken off at the mo so just DVLA to wait on)
Thumbs up from me anyway
