Bell Direct just lost my business
Just bought a Rover 214 as a stop gap before my car comes, conversation went something like this:
Me: I'd like to update my details with a new car
Bell: Yes can you tell me make
Me: It's a Rover 200
Bell: A Wola?
Me: No Rover
Bell: Ok let me just see
Bell: How are you spelling that?
Me: R O V E R Rover
Bell: Ok let me see
Bell: Is that Royal bank of Scotland?
Me: eh?
Bell: Is the make Royal Bank of Scotland?
Me: No it's a Rover
Bell: Oh! How do you spell that
Me: R O V E R
I think you get the gist.

Always found Bell to be very good in my experience, hence why I'm with them. Call centre is based in Cardiff, which is better than Kazikstan.....ish.
Their sister company Elephant however.....I could rant all day about the incompetent philistines.
Perhaps you just caught them off guard.....what with a Rover being such an exotic car and all?
