Insurers buying market share......
#1
I was quite amused to see a post about a cheap quote from AXA, as I was with them when I bought the Scoob, and they charged me about £40 extra (changing from a Golf VR6). This made the annual premium about £800.
However, their renewal quote last February was £4265 !?! I tried a quote on their website yesterday and got £850 !
Kind of backs up Rums' comments (and he should know) on another post that the big companies will quote cheap to get market share of particular vehicles and then raise their quotes when they get a few claims in..... I guess AXA are back into buying market share now.....

As you said....as I said *sigh*...seems to be the name of the game at the mo...
However, on the bright side it means that people should be able to get a decent quote....even if it is for one year...the downside is that you have to do all the work again at renewal *sigh*
It would be nice to consistant pricing from all companies....but I guess that will never happen...
