Default HELP!!! Struggling with insurance.....22 yr old.

In desperate need of some help guys....

For the past week, ive been phoning all the insurance companies i know of..

bell.co.uk
admiral
endsleigh
mce insurance
the insurance factory
adrian flux
performance direct
a plan
japanese import insurance
car insurance 4 u
footman james
performance insurance
heritage
keith michaels
greenlight
norwich union
elephant
budget

Plus all the insurance companies out the back of this months Japanese Performance Mag.....

Plus ive tried all the insurance comparison sites....

money super market
compare the market
confused
beat that quote
post office
market balance
quote mart
quote line direct

Im either getting.....

- have to be 25 years old or over
- owned the car atleast 1 year
- must have tracker fitted

And the companies that do give me quote are having a laugh surely.....the lowest ive managed to get is £1950 TPFT.......

With some people it works out worthwhile to go fully comp lol

Surely there is companies who can insure me for a respectable price??

Car - 1996 Impreza WRX (Import)
22 years old
Driving 3 years
3 years NCB
Garaged over night
No points
No convictions
Use of company cars on fleet insurance at work
1 named driver (Step dad) with no claims or convictions etc...

My previous cars were....

- 1993 Pug 106 rallye 1.3i
- 1994 Honda Civic 1.5i (group 12)
- 1995 Honda Civic 1.6i VTEC (group 14)
- 1995 Honda Civic 1.5i (group 14)

Now i know its a massive step up, but surely all of the above info has to count for something lol

Anyone been in a similar situation?

Id appreciate some advice / info.

Thanks
Adz.

I know you said you've spoken to Keith Michaels, but did you speak to Gary Moulson (aka Moley_WRX on here?). He generally gets the job done, and he recommends that you speak with him rather than anyone else at KM's as he knows his scoobs.

I found a site called 4youngdrivers (Young Driver Car Insurance - Young Driver Insurance) who managed to get me a cracking quote on a WRX. Sure its a brokers, but they really did seem to pull one out of the bag where all the other (so-called) cheap insurance companies just couldn't come close. Even Confused.com was a dead loss!!

Give them a try, they saved me over £350 on my best quote.
