Just thought I'd share the fact that my Isurance has actually gone down this year!!!!
I changed to Liverpool Victoria (Frizzel) last yaer as they were the cheapest by a couple of hundered pounds.
I got my renewal through today and it's actually gone down to £637.
I've had nothing but good service as well this year so if your remewal is due try them.0800 607 607.

No connection just a happy cutomer with a few extra quid in his pocket.

I also insured my MY00 with Frizzel last feb for £600 odd with PPP, 17" wheels etc declared, and hope this years quote will be similar, a lot of other companies wouldn't even consider a modified motor

Cool

I'm impressed!

I just ran Victoria and my quote is £216 less than my previous best quote that doesn't require a tracker and £124 cheaper than my best quote with a tracker, even without one... if that makes sense!

I shall continue ringing around and stuff but I suspect no one will be able to match that!

Mine went down from £870 to £615 this year with Hastings Direct. 28, Full NCD, Standard MY00 Turbo, parked on a drive, surrey postcode.

Only downside is a £525 XS but lets be honest I am not going to claim for something small.

I heard a rumour that hastings direct is backed by some big Japanese insurance company and they are giving out low qoutes to get market share. This means it will probably go up next year but as I have never been with the same insurance company for 2 years running I don't care!

Angry

I rang Liverpool Victoria this morning for a quote and they told me they can't insure anyone under 25 on a car with an insurance group of more than 10!!! Great company!!

When I was 23, my policy was £1200 with protected no claims and full no claims bonus on a 22B with tracker and lots of mods all declared. That was with a london postcode too!

Privilege.

Has anyone tried Churchill? Don't laugh, they were miles cheaper than anyone else and no surcharge for Zorst, Induction kit or 17 Super T's!

Yep, I got the same thing this year. Mine dropped from 1050 to 900 for a 98 sti type R. Still more than it was in 1999, but nice that it came down a bit. What are you driving Young Ged ? (and please don't say a 98 type R !!!)
Oh yeah, forgot to say that I'm with Bell Direct - good service for the last 4 years, and they'll do what they can to price match to keep the business (so still worth phoning around every year !!)
