Try Gary Moulson at Keith Michaels, did a very good deal for me halving what I was paying with Direct Line. Also believe Direct Line and Privilege are pretty much the same due to same underwriters...

Even with 9 yrs NBC? A little steep matey?

I'm paying £475 on my wr1 fully comp with Admiral (online insurance) - and nope I'm not in my 60s...far far from it!

Have to admit, naming a female as an additional driver on your policy reduces the overal premium!

NCB = More = Cheaper Premium

Tracker = Cheaper Premium

Online Insurance = Cheaper Premium

Garaged = Cheaper Premium

Additional Drivers = under 30 = Expensive Premium

Points (don't make prizes) = More = Expensive Premium

32 in two weeks, £1100 with 1 years NCB but bear in mind I have had company cars for over 5 years and I never kept a car longer than 6 months.. so I kind of shot myself in the foot

I am expecting the figure to get down in 2009 (touch wood)

This year Direct Line wanted £650, up from £600 last year even though I'd had yet another claim free year. Rang up A-Plan and got it all mods declared, fully comp, garaged, Trackered etc £400. Nice one. I'm 34 btw.

i had a Tracker on my last scooby but it wasnt fitted properly, then then charged me to re-fit it and the engineer said that it wouldnt have worked previously where it was and then they sent me a letter saying that i needed to renew now as my tracker service had expired, i stopped using it over 4 years ago !!! so they dont fill me with confidence to say the least.

I had a similar experience with Tracker in the past. They expect you to renew but can't even be bothered to respond to emails or letters asking for a better subscription deal.
