Points and informing insurance company
In december I got 4 points on my licence for driving withput due care, I crossed the path of a motorbike at night which had no lights on and it's my fault??
Anyway, that's by the by now, I pleaded not guilty and got 4 points at court, my insurance is up for renewal in june this year, do I need to notify the insurance company of my points now or can I hold off till renewal?
Thanks

I don't recall anyone I know doing anything during the year in which you get points, they just waited till renewal, but an insurer may be able to use this to stop a claim I suppose - same as not declaring a mod that you may have done during the insurance year. I think you have to decide whether to gamble or not. Use google to see if anyone else has ever been caught out by this.

It is always best to check with the company you are with.
Most won't need to know untill renewal, but i wouldn't want to speak for the whole industry, as there are a couple who might load.
Not worth running the risk TBH
Hope this helps
