TRADE INSURANCE how dose it work ...
hi, i am looking into some cheaper alternatives, i am currently 18 and am driving wrx 1993, this costs 4k to insure fully comp as a named driver on my mums policy. the guy I brought the scooby off was only a yr older and pays 1500 a year for trade insurance which he can drive anything. How would i go about setting up trade insurance ? what proof will they need of a business, I.E could i create a Car valeting business with just a letter head etc, any help much appreciated

My dads on trade.
He can drive cars up to 10k in value, not sure if thats new or current value, if new thats a pretty crap selection. the cars can't be in his name or import, or Cosworths or RS turbo's he told me today
But I suspect thats just because of the firm he is with.
Obviously there are betters deals with more options about.
You dont' build up any new claims doing it though, but again that might be the deal he has got.

Try to pretend it's your mum's car and you won't make a clean getaway - Insurance, Money - Independent.co.uk
It is a common fraud, but it's still fraud.
