what insurance for a car used 1-2 times per month?

how would I go about insuring a car that would be used about 1-2 times a month??

temporary insurance ?? Ive looked on google but none will insure performance cars.

any ideas??

You can get day insurance, try dayinsure on google. Quite good rates, unfortunately they don't insure under 21's.
