Unhappy

I will soon have to convert my european plate into an english one. Therefore I will have to do an English insurance.

Here my blacklist:

European (LHD) Impreza WRX 01 PPP+Leda
26 yrs old with 1 year ban driving for drink/d here in England 2 yrs ago.
Never had accident. Car parked outside.
I can show a FIA racing driving license. Do you think this could help?

Can you give me an approximate forward price?

MANY THX

British insurance companies will load you for the LHD, PPP and Leda mods, plus big loading for DD conviction. Your age won't help either.

You will need to prove any NCB with present insurers, in English, for any discount.

Most insurance companies will require a Cat1 alarm + tracker on an MY01.

All in all - Big quote, would n't be surprised at 3k. I'd try some of the specialist young driver brokers.

Not sure who would be the best specialist for your situation. I'm 30 with full NCB so tend to go to the direct insurers.

Best bet is to keep reading this forum and check recommendations from people in a similar situation.
