barclays renewal for jap sti - OUCH

Just got my third year renewal on my 98 sti5 currently insured through barclays.
31 years old, 8 years ncb, navtrack, cat1, driveway/garaged, 3 points (sp30) - due to come off if i remember rightly).
Last year £950 inc protected no claims.
This year £1480 - FEKKIN ELL!!!!!!
Current best has been Tesco with £1008 (which also includes my 29 year old wife to drive) any other ideas anyone?

Barclays quoted me £2568 (and I work for them)!!
That's for a 31yr old,
with 9yr NCB,
clean license,
London-(garaged),
6000 miles per year,
partner (slightly older - just trying to save my hide) teacher.
Needless to say they didn't get my business!
Got it for 940 (that's with protected NCB) and £100 excess with American Express!
