Help - Need Insurance for modified WRX
#1
Hi
I have a MY94 WRX.
It has some modifications wheels, exhaust, induction kit, dump valve.
My current insurence company won't insure me with the modifications.
Despite the fact that
I am 35
Have no claims
Have no points
Have a top of the range cobra alarm with sensors to detect when the car is being lifed, when the glass is broken and extra bonnet pins.
A thatcham approved disc lock
The car is allways parked overnight in a secure underground car park with steel doors and covered by CCTV.
So I am hardly a high risk!
Does anyone know of an insurence company that will give me a good price on an import with mods given my good track record?
Any help appreciated
I have tried Greenlight and Chris Knott but they both don't do imports.
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
Talk to Tom (Rum*) @ Schofields on 0113 250 0377. He insures the blackbeast, which is a MY94 WRX Wagon, and is, *ahem* slightly modified
Think you will need a tracker though, but in the long run it could be worth it.
