Seriously it's a joke, got my renewal through last week and it actually went up!!
I'm 29yrs old, have 4yrs no claims, clean licence and live in a decent area.
The car is a 2003 wrx and the premium is £906 fully comp!
I rang them up and blagged £50 off bringing it down to £856 but everyone i talk to says they pay a lot less!
I tried one of these comparison websites and the cheapest they came up with was £965![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
Is this just the going rate or am i being shafted?

I haven't even had my renewal notice yet. Another bit of a dig at KM actually. A-Plan have already called trying to get my business and so far nothing from KM not even a reminder that it is about to run out. Bit poor really especially as you'd need it to go elsewhere.

Although i'm not quite sure why another company would need your renewal price before offering the best price they can?

I have to say i did need to claim for a windscreen this year and that went well so cheers, I was going to drop you a pm/call but it struck me as strange.
I told them what i paid this year and they were above that (just) so i'd be hoping for more of the same (or less) from yourselves.
I do find it strange that when you tell an insurer you are off somewhere else they can ind a bit more wiggle room in the price sometimes!

Christmas eve chap! Nothing recieved. It was just interesting to get a call from a rival and not yourselves.

Got mine, dated 15th so day before I posted.
Need to have a chat though.... seems to have gone up £105 as a reward for another year of good behaviour... now a lot more than A-Plan... arrgh!
