Default Insurance problems...

First post here, so here goes......

Afternoon all, i currently have a bit of an insurance problem
Im in the process of buying a classic wrx, but my insurers (Aplan) have told me that who im with (QBE i believe) won't touch me on a Subaru, Evo or Skyline. I've owned and driven performance vehicles in the past, so im not sure on the problem.
My policy is up in around a month, so i obviously don't want to cancel now.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Waiting would leave me without a car, and im too young for temp cover

Can they not move you to a different insurer?

If QBE are refusing to cover it there isn't much else you can do TBH.

I am hoping so. I have to pop back in Monday.
Pulsar, 200sx and Cosworth no problem. Even a Supra TT!
Yet, insure an Impreza? The bloke in there isn't holding out much hope.

A change of insurer is possible i suppose, although i've just sent off my driving licence to have the adress changed

Edit... After a little search, i see a few on here are with Aplan. How is this? I was told no Impreza, Evo or Skyline, no matter the age??

QBE are reluctant to do anyone under 30 on an Impreza, so i assume most under 30 year olds would be with a different insurer that A Plan use.
