Before i bought the scooby i got a few quotes and they were coming in around the £500 mark. fine i thought and went to look for a car.

Now i have bought one i'm finding those same company's are quoting over a grand. nothing has changed except the tick in the "i have not bought this vehicle yet" box

I rang a few of the specialist places today and was very disapointed with their attitude towards the subaru impreza. One told me they couldn't offer insurance to me because of my age (im 33 with full no claims bonus and a computer engineer, no claims or convictions) hardly a 17yr old with a heavy right foot.

Anyway long story short, Sky insurance beat the rest by a mile and i found the team polite and enthuisiastic. (i don't work for them)

think i will ring them also as made my first ever claim on monday as i found black ice and then met a bollard shame as just got her back on road that morning but insurance company are pillaging me and very rude ppl not happy what they are going to do to me :-(
