Default Insuring a CTR, can anyone suggest a good insurance company.

Not changed cars for 7 years so am only used to the scoob insurance. Hopefully someone can suggest a cheap company that i can change to.

My policy runs out in June but i just called them to see how much difference the new car ('04) would make and they said an extra £126 is needed until the policy runs out. I thought this was a lot. I have 5 years NCD, 6 in June, and a clean license and i am older than 25.

Any suggestions?

Give my company a try, we insure CTR's in high volumes through our affiliation with the CTROC.

Thanks

Apologies but your first post on a forum recommends a company who have a habbit of signing up to car club forums as individuals to recommend themselves.. rather than paying to advertise like the other specialists.. just stank of spam to me.

I guess i can forgive you, I have been looking on here since April for a decent STI to purchase and reading any tips on what to look out for or what modifications are best. Specifically i have been paying a lot of attention to the insurance section since im only 24 its a bit of a problem trying to insure an STI for a decent price! Since i currently own a CTR (untill i find the right STI) i thought wow a topic i can actually give some useful input on! Hence the post.

Thanks for the pm!
