Insurance and parking
Just looking at renewing the insurance and it appears most insurances will give a discount of some sort if you park your car in the garage at night.
If you took this option with the insurer is there a rule that the car must be parked x number of days in the garage at night and what would happen if you forget to park your car in the garage one night and it was stolen from your drive ?
Thanks

If you tell them it's garaged overnight it must be garaged overnight (every night).
It it was stolen off your driveway the insurers would be within their right to refuse the claim

What if you stay somewhere over night where there isn't a garage? A hotel or friends for example?
Or is it just when it is at your home address, it has to be parked in a garage?
Probably insurers discretion i guess!
