Has Everyones gone up as well as the exess
I was with A-Plan and my renewal is due this week.
I just made a claim and have the so called no claims protection 9+ years. I have declared all mods no real power increase just looks and brakes really.
The excess has gone from £150 to £500 min and the insurance has gone up to £730! I paid about £600 last year!
I'm 30 no convictions married and have 1 child. Not really in a high risk area, I've been on the comparison sites and the average on there is about £1200 or more never really bothered with them. But WTF!
Anyone else found this? I knew something was going to happen with insurance but damn!

wow!
my wrx wagon was around 500 Pounds a year with window cover and part insurance cover. I'm leveled at 35% of the full price(roughly 2000 ish?), in a rural area so it's a cheap manoeuvre.
Focus RS may be 800 ish or a lot more
I saw the TopGear episode with the teen car test, absolutely absurd some insurance company want 7000 Pounds and more
Don't know if the insurance went up, my fried tried to turn my car left on the highway (with 140 mi/h) (so looking desperately for a STI wagon)
cheers
Nico
