well tha dreaded renewell came thru from Aplan,, who i was insured with last year bang on £700..whitch i was very happy with at the time with the lowish no claims bonus i had with 3 years no claims,, clean licence,, 39 years old,,garaged e.t.c This year they wantd £755 i phoned ive got extra year no claims etc etc and you want £55 moreyes sir and they would not budge so after several calls to gary moulsen with no joy just put on hold every time,, 10 mins passed then 20 mins with no contact no your call is in a queue,will be answered shortly etc etc nothing so i decide to call sky insurance got straight through after 10 mins usuall questions all mods declared if you pay today sir in full we can insure you for £600, so one call saved me £155.it still dumfounds me the difference in quotes from one company to another. but a big thanks to sky insurance,,, the money they saved me will pay for the minor service that is due this week.and a few beers

fair do's ... didnt know sky do car insurance!! will be remembering that.

I cant stand that you have to call around every year otherwise your own ins company stings you ... to offer lower rates to new customers ... to then try and sting them the year after.

If they all looked after their own existing customers they wouldnt need to concentrate on stealing other companies customers every year

Saying that, I'll be calling 2day for a quote - should I ask for you Ollie or will anyone at SkyInsurance be able to quote on an import scooby?

Nobody likes insurers so you kind of get used to it
