Default renewal time LOL! what a joke

just got my renewal paperwork through and my renewal was over £600 what a joke that is, anyone know anywhere i can go to get a real world quote??

Try Keith Michaels Insurance and ask for Gary. My best quotes have came from them. Gary is a scoobynet member.

sorry i dont pay £600 a year what i was ment to say it went up by £800, from under £1000 a year to £1798.68, and i didnt even claim or nothing had changed, so £600 is a under statment.

I am in the same boat, 590 last year now a-plan have quoted 1200 and that's their best quote. (no claims on my part)

Thought these days were over at 31, I feel 19 again getting a quote for an xr2i.

yeah i spoke to sky yesterday gonna probs go with them at the end of the month gave me a pretty gd price too.

I had exactly the same problem last year I paid £335 and got my renewal for £740, I was gobsmacked I hadnt made a claim and obviously had increased my no claims so how can it have more than doubled in a year.

I ended up going with Swinton and got it down to £520 but I'm still not happy that it is still nearly double for no apparent reason.
