Need insurance, Age 26, 6-7 NCB, help.....
Hi people,
Need your advice, im looking to get a uk turbo but i cant get a decent quote.
Adrian Flux, tesco are asking over 1k
Im 26 with 6 NCB going on 7 NCB in 2 months.
I've been trying to get hold of gary moulson @ keith micheal but with no luck.
If your around my age, what are you paying on what model scooby, with how many NCB.
Insurance costs are the only thing putting me off.
Advice will be appreciated

Thanks guys, the best I've manage to get it now is around £800 so I may try bells.
I may hold out 2 months, as by then I'll have 7yrs ncb.
Insurance is meant to down on the renewal not up! What a joke.

Give sky a try. I'm 27 with full NCD and a 2002 wrx. They quoted me £590.
Not sure on your exact details but I have a full licence, clean with no accidents and drive professionally. Also its a second car approx 5000 miles a year.

Tried most if not all of the above companies with decent result, most a big improvement over my £1k+ quotes
Sky need a garage and were meant to get back to me, 2 days later still waiting
Aviva quoted £ 800 FC and Bell £700 FC
All quotes based on standard uk scoob.
Feel alot happier with those quotes, cant really complain.
Im still going to hunt about but cheers for the info everyone

thanks for the reply to my PM. I think the issue is, we only have your landline number, which, to be fair, we have tried to call you on a few times.
We are keen to get hold of you. You have another PM
Thanks

Difficult to say if your quotes are good or not as i find the biggest issue is postcode... but paying £700 from Bell sounds really good to me but i'm treated to the benefits of having a Manchester postcode. I've used Bell and Admiral (same group) for the last two years, i'd try to get hold of Gary again tho to see how KM compares.

I'm in a SN postcode so a pretty reasonable area.
I know area codes play a big part too, some companies won't touch some areas.
Sky has just contacted me with a quote under £700!
I must say, there customer service was very good, dealing with my issue straight away.
