When I was shopping for a scoob in March last year I got a few quotes on the Direct Line website (so you could probably find cheaper elsewhere):

Based on 25 year old - full no claims.

UK Scoob - 900
P1 - 1100
Evo6 - 1400
Escort Cosworth - 1500
Skyline R34 GTR - 1650

Adrian Flux was the broker, they are a grey import specialist.

Policy was thro' Highway at Lloyds (who coincidentally wouldn't insure the impreza??)

I'm the guy who is selling the Skyline GTS-Turbo. I'm 17 so obviously I can't get insured but it cost my dad slightly over £600 fully comp from Adrian Flux.

600 sounds very reasonable. When i was looking to insure mine (38, full no claims, clean license) it was difficult getting under 1300.

Lot depends on postcode, i guess.

When we were getting the Skyline insured I could only find 2 out of about 15 companies that would do it for less than £1000. Direct line gave us a quote for about £720 but Addrian Flux was the cheapest.
