try keith michaels (via moley on here) A plan quoted me over 1300 but he got me a quote of 900 which i took.
i'm 33, live in a "refer" postcode in north manchester and only had 2 years no claims for my more-or-less standard uk turbo

A lot of it goes by your post code you might be classed as a high risk area!

I used to work in the events industry if i put that i was a producer then my insurance doubled as they seem to think you drive around with he cast of High School Musical in the car just looking to have an accident. If i put account manager for an AV company which in truth was more closely related to what i did then a much more realistic quote. In 20 years i did not take an a-c list celeb in my car to more than a rail station and only a handful of times at that!
If you live in/near Bradford etc then insurance is higher due to the insurance accident scams in the area where you live and commute to can have quite an influence.
Do not lie just be realistic.
