Quick insurance question ?
I have had the scooby insured in my name with my no claims for 5 or so years, I've just bought another car thats going to be my main daily drive and want to register it in my name and use my no claims on that one but what I want to know is it
A) easier to ring my insurer and ask them to let my husband insure the scooby instead of me in his name and use his no claims that are not being used at the mo or will they not allow me to swap, the insurance has been running about 3 months and is already paid for
or
B) can I legally register the log book on the new car in my name but let my husband insure it as the main policy holder and use his no claims bonus but have me as the main driver, is that allowed ?
Thanks Julie

Why not use secret option 3... call your insurer and ask them for a multi car policy and to mirror your no claims on the new motor especially as it will reduce the miles done in the higher risk car....
