Admiral multi car wins again...
Renewal time again and i'm sticking with Admiral and a multi car policy with the wife's Cooper D.
Did the usual confused.com and the big names as well as specialists such as sky and A-plan. Craig @ a-plan didn't even give me the exact price as he said it was miles away. Left messages for Gary @ KM and phoned a few times over 3 days but no call back so gave up. I'll try them all again next year tho, hopefully get a quote from KM this time too.
So if its renewal time its worth giving Admiral a go, they seem good on Manchester postcodes
Tony.

I'm starting to think the same too. Renewal went up from £840 last year to £1,400. Admiral are the lowest by far at £1,040, tried A-plan who quoted £1,450, Sky Insurance wouldn't cover an Impreza in a Manchester postcode and the worst quote so far is £8,400!!!

Be interested to note that I have tried Admiral in the past and wouldn't give me the time of day when mentioned I had an impreza (modded) with another car. The thing is you'll find they probably quote you okay if no mods on a car, but any mods being declared can get a bit painful there after.

Car has a non standard exhaust declared on the policy and still coming in at £1,040. Tried A-plan this morning who could only get the premium down to £1,450, they said Admiral are really going for it at the moment offering very low premiums.

Last year Admiral were the cheapest for my M3, the year before that was Bell (same group). I was previously with A Plan for years but the premium over doubled for no real reason.... Keith Michaels before that. Ideally i would have liked to have tried KM again but its so frustrating that only one guy can give the best deals on Imprezas. If he really is that busy that he can't return calls within 4 days of trying KM really need to have two people (or more) that can help us. I just gave up trying and waiting.

Managed to get through to KM, just rang the freephone number off their website and after a short wait someone answered, asked what car it was and put me through directly to Moley!! Unfortunately the best they could do was £1,400
