Unhappy Car Insurance - Any suggestions?!...

Anyone suggest anywhere to try for a car insurance quote? Prices seem to have gone up loads since last year, and I'm struggling to get insurane for under a grand

Tried all the usual comparison sites, and Adrian Flux - anyone else got anywhere to suggest?

I know the feeling mate, I'm 36 this year - £1200. Over 10 years no claims, never had an accident, never had a claim for or against me. I was paying £340 2 years ago on my scoob and was thinking of getting back in to one again, but at these prices I'm not to sure

Sounds like I'm not the only one having probs then!

I've just called a few brokers this lunchtime and again all the quotes are well over a grand! Just going to have to settle for my best quote off gocompare I guess. Well expensive and a monster excess too!

So my insurance has gone from £350 last year when I got this car, up to £800 when I moved to Leeds, and now over £1000 despite no claims/points etc
