Ridiculus renewal prices
Anyone know where to go for a realistic quote?
Had my renewal from A-plan and its gone up 50% from last year!
9 years no claims, 29 years old on a lowly 96 wrx.
I have tried a couple of the comparison site and they are beyond the joke with prices ranging from £1100-£2000 for a car thats only worth around that!
Thanks in advance for any help

Henry, I did speak to A-plan and it was 50% more expensive than last year! I could speak to them again but dont see what it would achieve, unless there is a specific contact I should be speaking to there?

Unfortunately due to the fact I drive a banger at the minute not even worth 500 quid, neither Moley or Chris could help me this year. Mainly because my car isn't really worth putting through a specialists.
BUT, having been insured by Moley for two years on my previous 205 GTi and also having spoken to Chris Clacy @ A-Plan for a couple years renewals too, I can hand on heart recommend them both to the highest degree. The customer service in general is excellent, with both guys knowing a damn site more than some Indian call centre for the supposed "big" insurers
For the record CIS were best for me this year, but I doubt this will be the case when I'm back into a Scoob

Is this the point when I shut up about my renewal quote from Direct Line? (A4 3.0TDi, me: 44 years old with 9 years NCB) = £520.
I bitched at them and they got it down to £470, but just going on to one price comparison site got me £383 with LVE.
