I've always insured my Scooby fully comp, but now it's six years old I'm thinking about moving to third party. Would I expect to see much of a saving or is a huge proportion of the premium to cover third-party claims anyway?

Mine is insured Third Party. Mine costs 70 euro a month note the euro im in germany so insurance is a lot cheaper over here. You will see a good saving may not be massive tho depending on you no claims and age etc. The other thing you have to think about if the worst happens and you crash it you will be starting all over again. My wifes car is fully comp good job she has claimed twice in two years.

no mAte not nowadays. Use to be a big difference but if you go on most price comparison sites, i find that fully comp is actually cheaper than 3rd party. Keep it fully comp mate.
