Default Import insurance issue

Hi

was just wondering for any one who has an import classic insured. I have seen quite a few that are registered as gl models although they are sti's.

Question is are you declaring it as an sti or just insuring it as a gl which is what the reg makes it out to be

How folk think they can get away with insuring an sti as a gl is beyond me, if its involved in an accident even if its someone else's fault they will void the insurance as it goes on the vin number which will show it as an sti and not a gl.
Not worth the hastle as the insurance will be paid for nothing.

Mine isn't registered, on the V5, as any model, only has Subaru on it.

It's insured correctly though.
