Default sti steering wheel on a wrx

right i got the steering wheel which is actually in the car and ive got a squib from a sti and tried ti fit it tonight but i cant see how to do it, firstly the screws dont fit and there are too many connections plus mine has a earth and this one doesnt



any suggestions would be helpfull
reason i want to put it in is the airbag light is on

cars a bugeye wrx

The white plug doesnt need connecting, the centre part of the steering wheel in which the air bag is contained has a wire on the back for the horn and plugs into the clock spring.
I cant understand why the screw holes dont line up though, i thought the newage ones were interchangeable.


Why cant you use your clockspring with the sti steering wheel?

i do use my clockspring but the connections are slightly different
