Default Sunroof all mixed up

I've been having trouble with the sunroof lately. The sunroof opens normally. The problem comes in when you try to close it. The sunroof closes to the point where it should stop but instead of stopping it automatically opens back up again. Its almost as if the sunroof doesn't know where "closed position" should be. The behaviour is similar to an automatic garage door opener that finds something blocking its path. The glass slides in and out smoothly. There is no blockages or binding up. It just doesn't stop where its supposed to stop. Suggestions?

Most likely just needs setting up again, similar procedure to the auto window on the drivers door.

Reset the sunroof motor.
(1) Close the sunroof lid completely, and then
push the switch to close for more than 1 second.
(At this time, the sunroof operates 50 mm (1.97
in) each intermittently. And also the switch is
needed to push for several times.)
(2) Open the sunroof lid approx. 400 mm (15.75
in).
(3) Close the sunroof lid completely, and then
push the switch to close for more than 1 second.
(Sunroof operates automatically by performing
this operation.)
